Trincomalee is a charming town with white beaches, clear blue waters and Pigeon Island is one of the six islands in the city. There are no inhabitants living but Pigeon Island National Park is one of the two marine national parks in Sri Lanka. Trincomalee

As a local island girl, Trincomalee holds my fondest childhood memories as every summer break my family and I used to drive up north to relax and snorkel by the turquoise blue waters and get mesmerized by the vibrant plus psychedelic fish we never knew even existed!

Hence, to keep to tradition, we decided to take a spontaneous trip to Trincomalee once again, but to explore not one but different types of beaches around the area. One would think they’re all the same, however, not quite exactly!
