Day 1 – Start your hilly adventure

You will be assisted upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport and then start your holiday by travelling to Kandy.

Day 2 – Spend some ele-time

After breakfast visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage in time to witness the bathing and bottle feeding of the baby elephants. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage among the green hills of Kegalle, holds herds of elephants roaming free in the Pinnawela Orphanage,

It is a sanctuary covering 25 acres of lush forest with the purpose of feeding, hursing as well as ousing young elephants lost or abandoned by their mothers.

Later that evening tour around the Kandy city which includes a visit to the temple of the tooth. The Temple of the Tooth also known as ‘Dalada Maligawa’ holds the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha brought to Sri Lanka from the Kalinga province in ancient India in the 4th century AD.

Day 3 – Waterfalls and tea!

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda falls en route visiting a tea factory/plantation and some beautiful waterfalls. Nuwara Eliya is a part of Sri Lanka which feels like an English district with Tudor-style and Victorian home looks across the blue lake and mountains.

Later that evening enjoy a game of golf on a course that is ranked one of the best in Asia.

Day 4 – World’s End

After breakfast start an excursion to Horton Plains Nature & Wild Life Reserve. Horton Plains is the only National Park situated in the Hill country and falls within the Nuwara Eliya district and holds panoramic scenic beauty of the hill country. The famous ‘Worlds End’ is a major attraction within the park; hence you could enjoy a trek to World’s End & Bakers Falls.

Day 5 – Train rides and Monastaries

After breakfast you will be transferred to Nanu Oya railway station for a short train journey to Bandarawela. Bandarawela is an unhurried, unpretentious hill-country town which exists to supply the needs of the tea plantation workers, farmers and its hardworking inhabitants. Another distinctive feature of Bandarawela is the colonial flavor still preserved in the many old buildings.

Later that evening, visit the Adisham Bungalow in Haputale which is an old Benedictine monastery built in the shape of a small castle. You may be able to buy fresh fruit jams/ preserves and juices prepared by the monks from fruit grown in their garden.

Day 6 – Rafting Adventure!

After breakfast transfer to Kitulgala, a little town on the banks of the Kelani River. Begin white water rafting which would begin further upstream which winds down through lush forests, hills and sand bars.

Later that evening, travel to Colombo and tour around Colombo city at night.

Transfer to the airport to catch your return flight home!
